On Sunday, May 3 Saskatoon Search and Rescue will be hosting a fundraising barbecue and AdventureSmart presentations and display at Cabela’s, 1714 Preston Ave N, Saskatoon. This event will be the main kick-off to the 31 Days of SSAR campaign and will promote our involvement in National Emergency Preparedness Week and Provincial Missing Persons Week. The mandate of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon is “Serving the Community’s Greatest Need.” To this end, they support an incredible variety of organizations and projects related to everything from leisure infrastructure, health facilities, to sports leagues for disadvantaged youth and much, much more.
