The second year in a global pandemic is behind us. What will come in 2022? 2021 was another quiet year but Saskatoon Search and Rescue was busy training and maintaining our “search-ready” status. 2020 – A Year in Review

While 2020 was a quieter year for Saskatoon Search and Rescue in terms of activations, we were kept busy putting the final touches on the new truck and taking on the challenge of alternative training methods for both current members and a class of new searchers, and navigating the process of keeping our members safe during a pandemic. A Tribute to SAR Moms

A couple weeks ago I got an email from Bobbi Buchanan asking what I thought of the idea of profiling SAR moms on social media in celebration of Mother’s Day. Awesome idea! (Bobbi is VP and looks after social media for SARSAV – Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers.) The moms who responded to our emails gave really great answers.
