Member Discounts (Updated as of June 2023. If you find that any of these are out of date, please contact the Membership Director at membership@saskatoonsearchandrescue.org)
*Please carefully read and abide by each company’s policies (e.g. keep discounts confidential; purchase items for personal use only; items purchased under pro deals may not be re-sold; etc.) Failure to abide by company policies can result in the removal of the entire team from access to discounts.
**For online applications, be prepared to submit an electronic copy of your SAR ID and, in the case of in-person purchases, to show your ID card to obtain a discount.
It’s also important to shop local and to support our local community, as they support us. Many local retailers offer excellent service and pricing, no shipping costs and will often give a 10-15% discount or more at the till, especially if you ask discreetly! Have your ID card with you.
Arcteryx
Your Pro discount is only available on arcteryx.com and outlet.arcteryx.com.

Outdoor Prolink
The Membership Director will provide the company with a list of members on an annual basis. You will receive an invitation from Outdoor Prolink with application instructions if you wish to join.
Mountain Equipment Company (MEC)
15% discount on eligible items for emergency service personnel which includes Search and Rescue. Note that you must be an MEC member to make purchases.

For in-store shopping, professional and photo ID must be presented at the cashier. For purchases by phone, members can send MEC a copy of their professional ID and photo ID and they will make a note on your membership to apply the discount (on eligible items) when a purchase is made. Discounts are not provided for online purchases.
